A quick blog post as I’ve been too busy recently!
Some of you may remember that I briefly mentioned this in my last newsletter. Anyway, a couple of months ago I did a couple of photo shoots for The Little Legs Company‘s summer range of clothes. Helen, a local (south London) mum is the lovely, down-to-earth owner of this great kids’ clothing company, check out the website if you’re in the UK, though being online I guess her market is almost anywhere!
The first shoot was a challenge as the weather was not yet summery. Now you know why those fancy fashion photo shoots are done in exotic tropical destinations – unfortunately there wasn’t the budget for that…
Helen organised some local mums to bring their kids as models.
Huge thanks to Oliver, Marla, Sienna, Will, Zac and Helen’s own Daisy, who were amazingly well-behaved and I don’t remember there being any tired-tears, which you would half-expect at some stage. Thanks also to Tracy for letting us take over her house for a morning.
Photo info for the techno-geeks – I placed a few flashguns strategically around the room and bounced them off walls/ceilings/reflectors.
Then a few days later we were lucky with some warm spring days and blossoms, so we popped out with Daisy for a few more shots on Clapham Common. These I could shoot with natural light, being blessed with some lovely backlit images.
