And more importantly, we were lucky with the weather! A week or two later it snowed in Scotland. But on the day it was still touch and go. Would the mist clear?

It did – just enough. Lovely soft, golden, late-afternoon light, not too harsh, just right. But where were the clients?! Would the girls finish with the hairdresser in time?! The boys arrived first of course…  😀

We made it. As the light started to fade, we got the clan photos in the bag. Then for a charming party in the golf house. Great people, great music, great food. It may be a rather exclusive club but everyone, guests and staff, make you feel part of the family.
