What goes into creating quality photography?
TIME
Meetings with clients, travel time, processing the photos on the computer, designing albums, ordering frames, generally running a business…
A two-hour family portrait experience involves one or two days of work for the photographer.
A wedding involves several days of work.
I ENJOY spending this time with my clients and LOVE pleasing them with wonderful images – this is my true reward.
QUALITY PRODUCTS
There is little point having great images poorly presented.
I use skilled professional framing and album crafts-people who assemble everything by hand using premium quality materials.
PROFESSIONAL EQUIPMENT
Professional quality camera & computer equipment, regularly updated, costs thousands (eg. just one of my lenses costs £1300 alone)
EXPERIENCE
Years of experience and training – I’m qualified with both the BIPP and the SWPP
ALSO
Marketing/advertising, insurance, rent, salary…
There IS something included for free though – my passion, enthusiasm and great customer service!
